Nasabat ang mahigit 500 gramo ng shabu sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa Quezon City, Sabado ng hapon.
Ayon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), isinagawa ang operasyon sa bahagi ng Barangay Kaligayahan dakong 4:30 ng hapon.
Nagresulta rin ang operasyon sa pagkakaaresto sa tatlong suspek na sina Karen Leal, 32-anyos; John Rhens Timing, 20-anyos; at Jason Ymalay, 26-anyos.
Nagkakahalaga ang nakuhang ilegal na droga ng P3.4 milyon.
Nakumpiska rin ng PDEA ang isang cell phone mula sa mga suspek.
Mahaharap ang tatlo sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5, Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
