PDEA, nagbabala ukol sa ibinebentang injectible liquid shabu online

Nagbabala ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ukol sa pagbebenta ng injectable liquid shabu sa pamamagitan ng social media.

Ito ay matapos nasamsam ng PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) ang 26 syringes sa isang buy-bust operation sa harap ng isang kilalang fast food chain sa Mandaluyong City noong February 20.

Bawat syringe ay naglalaman ng 10.4 milliliters na liquid shabu.

Naaresto sa operasyon ang mga suspek na sina Mark Kenneth San Juan alyas “Xtian,” 23-anyos, at kasamang si Jeffrey Saclao, 28-anyos.

Lumabas sa imbestigasyon ng mga otoridad na ipinakakalat ni San Juan ang pagbebenta ng ilegal na droga sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang social media sites tulad ng Twitter, Romeo, at Grindr.

Kadalasang bumibili kay San Juan gamit ang text message o call messaging applications sa Facebook, Skype, Romeo, at Grindr.

Ayon kay PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, nagkakahalaga ang bawat syringe ng P1,000.

Maliban dito, may alok din ang dalawang suspek na pag-inject sa halagang P300.

Kasunod nito, tiniyak naman ni Aquino na hindi hihinto ang PDEA para mahinto ang drug trafficking sa bansa.

“Drug dealers have become brazen in publicly advertising and selling their illicit products online or through social
media. Rest assured that PDEA will be relentless in stopping this method of drug trafficking,” ani Aquino.
