DA nagpataw ng SRP sa karne ng baboy, manok, at isda

Nagpalabas na ng suggested retail price (SRP) ang Department of Agriculture (DA) para sa ilang agricultural products.

Nilagdaan ni Secretary William Dar ang Administrative Circular No. 1 na nagpapataw ng SRP sa baboy, manok, isda at iba pang agricultural products.

Sa ilalim ng Price Act, ang DA ay maaring mag-isyu ng SRP kung kinakailangan sa mga pangunahing bilihin na nasasakupan ng kagawaran.

Nakasaad sa circular na sakop ng SRP ang mga pamilihan sa Metro Manila.

Narito ang itinakdang SRP ng DA para sa mga piling produkto:

Bawang – P80 per kg Metro Manila
Pork (pigue/kasim) – P190
Chicken (whole, dressed) – P130
Sugar (raw, brown) – P45
Sugar (refined) – P50
Bangus (cage-cultured) – P162
Tilapia (pond-cultured) – P120
Galunggong (imported) – P130
Garlic (imported) – P70
Garlic (local) – P120
Red onion (imported) – P95

Sinabi ni Dar na regular na magsasagawa ng monitoring ang DA para maprotektahan ang mga consumer.

Katuwang ng DA ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), at mga LGU sa Metro Manila sa pagbabantay sa presyo ng nabanggit na mga produkto.
