Flagship programs and projects office isinusulong na maging hiwalay na ahensya sa BCDA

Nais ng ilang mga kongresista na ma-institutionalize ang opisina ng Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs and Projects ng gobyerno na hiwalay na sa Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

Ayon kina Northern Samar Rep. Paul Daza at Pampanga Rep. Aurelio Gonzales, ito ay para magkaroon na ng sariling pondo ang tanggapan at mapabilis ang mga flagship projects ng Duterte

administration.

Iminungkahi ng mga ito na gawin nang permanenteng opisina ang flagship programs and projects dahil bukod sa walang sariling resources ay nakikihati lamang din ito sa budget ng BCDA.

Kung may hiwalay na tanggapan ay matitiyak na kahit pa magpalit na ng adminsitrasyon ay magpapatuloy pa rin ang mga inilatag na

infrastructure projects ng kasalukuyang gobyerno.

Sa ngayon mayroong 100 flagship o legacy projects ang Duterte administration kung saan 44 sa mga ito ay inaasahang makukumpleto lagpas sa 2022 o sa pagtatapos ng termino ng Pangulong Duterte.
