Immediate repatriation sa mga Pinoy na sakay ng cruise ship sa Japan, ipinag-utos ng DFA
Ipinag-utos ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang pagsasagawa ng immediate repatriation sa mga Filipinong sakay ng Diamond Princess cruise ship sa Japan.
Sa Twitter, sinabi ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr. na nagbaba na siya ng utos sa Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Tokyo na agad i-repatriate ang mga Filipinong kabilang sa mga pasahero ng cruise ship sa Yokohoma.
Nakasailalim ang cruise ship sa quarantine period bunsod ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
Tungkulin aniya niyang tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) saanman sa mundo.
“I want them home now!,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.
Sa huling tala ng Department of Health (DOH) nasa 41 Filipino sa cruise ship ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.
