Partial lifting ng travel ban sa Hong Kong at Macau ipinatupad na ng BI

Sinimulan nang ipatupad ng Bureau of Immigration ang partial lifting ng travel ban sa Macau at Hong Kong.

Ito ay makaraang magpasya ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases na apyagan na ang pag-alis ng mga OFW, student visa holders at mga Pinoy na permanent residents sa Hong Kong at Macau.

Ayon kay BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, maituturing itong welcome development para sa mga OFW na hindi na nagkaalis sa Pilipinas simula nang pairalin ang ban.

Agad inatasan ni Morente ang lahat ng airport personnel na tumalima sa bagong guidelines ng Task Force.

Mananatili namang bawal magtungo sa Macau at Hong Kong ang mga turistang Pinoy.
