Pastillas scheme, POGO workers hindi sasantuhin ng gobyerno
Hindi magbubulag-bulagan ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa isyu ng P10 bilyong “Pastillas scheme” o ito ang suhulan sa mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) na nakatalaga sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) kung saan ine-escortan ang mga Chinese na makapasok sa bansa at makapagtrabaho sa Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator o POGO.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, walang sasantuhin ang pamahalaan ng Pilipinas kahit pa ang sangkot ay mga Chinese.
“I don’t think so because the record of this administration speaks for itself. It never turns a blind eye on anything that concerns governance,” ani Panelo.
Hindi rin aniya natatakot ang Palasyo na maapektuhan ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas sakaling mawala ang mga POGO.
“There is no sacred cow in this government. If it’s against the interest of the people and general welfare, I’ll stop it. This is the kind of President we have,” dagdag ni Panelo.
Ayon kay Panelo, hindi lamang sa Pastillas scheme magiging matigas ang gobyerno kundi maging sa isyu ng prostitution den at hindi pagbabayad ng buwis ng mga POGO.
Sa ngayon, wala na munang gagawing aksyon ang Malakanyang sa issue ng mga POGO worker hanggat walang inihahaing reklamo at magbigay ng mga ebidensya.
Mahirap naman aniyang umaksyon ang pamahalaan na base lamang sa report ng media o tsismis lamang.
