Batay sa anunsiyo ng Taizhou governmentsa Zhejiang province, ang Favilavir ang unang inaprubahan ng National Medical Products Administration simula nang magkaroon ng outbreak sa nasabing sakit.
Na-develop ito ng Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical Company.
Sa bahagi ng Zhejiang province, mayroon nang 1,167 na kaso ng COVID-19.
