NBI iimbestigahan ang nabunyag na “pastillas scheme” sa BI
Pumasok na rin ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa imbestigasyon hinggil sa nabunyag na “pastillas scheme” na kinasasangkutan umano ng ilang Immigration personnel na sinasabing tumatanggap ng suhol kapalit ng pag-escort sa Chinese POGO workers.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, nakatakda silang maglabas ng update kaugnay ng ongoing na imbestigasyon ng NBI.
Tiniyak naman ni Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete na masusing tinututukan ng DOJ ang ginagawang imbestigasyon ng Senado sa expose ni Senadora Risa Hontiveros.
Suportado rin ng DOJ ang ginagawang imbestigasyon ng tanggapan ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente laban sa sindikato sa loob ng BI.
