Medical marijuana use bawal pa rin ayon sa DDB

Nilinaw ng Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) na nananatiling ilegal ang paggamit ng marijuana sa bansa.

Ayon kay DDB Chairman Catalino Cuy, pinayagan lamang nila ang “compassionate use” ng marijuana para sa mga pasyente na may terminal illnesses gaya ng malubhang cancer.

Ayon kay Cuy, sa ngayon pwede nang gamitin ang marijuana para sa pasyenteng may terminal cancer.

Base ito sa reclassification na isinagawa ng DDB sa kanilang inilabas na board regulation.

Paliwanag ni Cuy, ang Food and Drug Administration ay maaring mag-isyu ng Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) para sa mga pasyente na mayroong life-threatening conditions gaya ng AIDS o cancer.
