Nakapagtala ng 77 volcanic earthquakes sa Bulkang Taal sa nakalipas na magdamag.
Sa volcano bulletin bandang 8:00 ng umaga, sinabi ng Phivolcs na indikasyon ito na mayroong magmatic activity sa Taal na maaaring magdulot ng eruptive activity sa main crater.
Patuloy pa ring naglalabas ng puting usok ang bulkan na may taas na 50 hanggang 100 metro.
Ayon pa sa Phivolcs, “below instrumental detection” ang sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission ng bulkan dahil sa weak plume activity.
Nananatili pa rin sa Alert Level 2 ang status ng Bulkang Taal.
