Naimbentong test kits para sa COVID-19 kailangan pang aprubahan ng WHO

Hinihintay ng Department of Health (DOH) ang permiso mula sa World Health Organization (DOH) para makalikha ang Pilipinas ng rapid test kits na makapagpapabilis sa pagsusuri sa mga may sintomas ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Cabinet Sec. Karlo Negrales, may ugnayan na ang Department of Science and Technology (DOST) sa isang grupo ng mga scientist sa Univeristy of the Philippines (UP) na nakagawa ng test kits.

Hihilingin aniya ng DOH sa WHO na madaliin ang validation process para sa naimbentong test kits.

Sa sandaling maaprubahan ng WHO ay saka ito maaring magamit sa bansa.

Sa ngayon, ang pagsusuri sa mga pasyenteng mayroong sintomas ay ginagawa sa Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).
