Sangley Airport sa Cavite bubuksan na

Pasisinayaan na bukas araw ng Sabado (February 15) ang Sangley Airport sa Cavite.

Ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), ang military air base ay handa na para sa general aviation at turboprop operations.

Sa sandaling maging fully-operational ay inaasahang makatutulong ito para ma-decongest ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Dalawang kumpanya naman ang agad na maglulunsad ng kanilang biyahe sa Sangley Airport bukas.

Ayon kay DOTr Assistant Secretary Goddes Hope Libiran ang Alphaland Aviation ang unang gagamit ng paliparan para sa kanilang Manila-Balesin flights.

Plano ng Aphaland na permanente nang ilipat ang kanilang biyahe patungo at mula sa Balesin sa Sangley Airport mula sa dating operasyon nito sa NAIA at Clark.

Gagamitin na rin ng CebGo ang Sangley Airport para sa kanilang cargo operations.
