Motorcycle taxis bilang public transport aprubado na ng dalawang komite sa Senado
Inaprubahan ng Public Services Committe at Local Government Committee sa Senado ang paggamit sa motorsiklo bilang public transport.
Sa inilabas na Committee Report No. 46 inirekomenda ng dalawang komite na aprubahan na ang Senate Bill 1341 o ang Motorcycles-for-hire Act.
Nilagdaan ng 16 na senador ang committee report.
Sa ilalim ng panukala, layong amyendahan ang RA 4136 o ang Land Transportation and Traffic Code na nagre-regulate sa mga motorcycles-for-hire.
Dahil sa rekomendasyon naniniwala si Senator Grace Poe, chairperson ng public services committee na malapit nang maging legal ang paggamit ng motorsiklo bilang public transport.
