Isa arestado dahil sa droga sa Navotas City

Arestado ang isang pedicab driver matapos mahulihan ng ilegal na droga sa Barangay North Bay Boulevard South Proper, Navotas City, bandang alas-8 ng gabi ng Miyerkules (February 12).

Nakilala ang suspek na si alyas-Empoy, 34 taong gulang at residente ng Barangay North Bay Boulevard South Proper.

Ayon sa Navotas Police, nagsasagawa sila ng anti-illegal gambling campaign nang matyempuhan nila na may dalang droga ang suspek.

Nakumpiska sa suspek ang 9 sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng mahigit P28,000.

Mahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
