WATCH: Quo warranto petition, isinampa ng OSG laban sa ABS-CBN
Nagsumite ang Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) ng petition for quo warranto laban sa ABS-CBN sa Korte Suprema,
Lunes ng umaga.
Nakasaad sa very urgent motion ni Solgen Jose Calida na bawiin ng Korte Suprema ang legislative franchises ng ABS-
CBN Corporation at subsidiary nito na ABS-CBN Convergence, Inc.
Ani Calida, gusto ng gobyerno na matuldukan ang mga nadiskubreng “highly abusive practices” umano ng TV station.
Dagdag pa nito, inabuso umano ng TV station ang pribilehiyo na ibinigay ng estado nang ilunsad at i-operate ang pay-
per-view ng ABS-CBN TV Plus, KBO channel nang walang prior approval sa NTC.
