Walang apektadong Filipino sa shooting incident sa Thailand – DFA

Tiniyak ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na walang Filipinong naapektuhan ng naganap na shooting incident sa Thailand.

Naganap ang pamamaril sa Nakhon Ratchasima Province mula Sabado ng gabi, February 8, hanggang Linggo ng umaga, February 9.

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng kagawaran na inalam ng Philippine Embassy sa Bangkok sa pamamagitan ni First Secretary at Consul General Val Roque kung ano ang lagay ng siyam na Filipinong napaulat na na-trap sa mall nang mangyari ang pamamaril.

Kinumpirma ng DFA na ligtas ang siyam na Filipino matapos makatakas sa insidente.

Nagparating naman ng pakikiramay ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa Thailand lalo na sa mga naiwang pamilya ng mga biktima.
