SJDM Rep. Rida at Mayor Arthur Robes, pasisinayaan ang “Love Lock Marker”; SJDM target makilala bilang UNESCO Creative City
Ilulunsad ngayong araw ng Lunes, February 10, 2020 ng mag-asawang sina Congresswoman Florida “ Rida” Robes ng Lone District ng San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan at SJDM Mayor Arturo “Arthur” Robes ang kanilang pagnanais na makilala ang SJDM bilang bahagi ng UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN).
Ito ay may kaugnayan pa rin sa kanilang vision na tunay na maging progresibong distrito ang SJDM.
Ayon kay Representative Rida Robes, “Mayor Arthur and I envisioned this at the start of our terms and now we’re following through on this promise. We have made sure that San Jose del Monte is a place that nurtures the creative arts.”
“We want our city to be progressive in every way. A booming economy is great, but we must not forget that there are so many more things that a community needs in order to be considered as fully developed. We must not forget to celebrate our culture. We must be open to the ideas from various fields, such as the creative arts. They nurture a community’s soul.” Dagdag naman ni Mayor Arthur Robes.
At para madagdagan ang kamalayan ng publiko sa pagnanais ng SJDM na makilala bilang Creative City ay pasisinayaan ng mga Robes ang unveiling ng “The Rising HeARt marker mamayang alas 5:00 ng hapon February 10, 2020.
Ang marker ay matatagpuan sa Barangka Road sa Barangay Paradise 3 sa SJDM.
Ang Paradise 3, ay bulubunduking bahagi ng SJDM tanaw ang makabuntong-hiningang skyline ng Metro Manila at iba pang mga kalapit lungsod at munisipalidad.
Mula sa bundok ay tanaw ang kalapit na Padre Pio pilgrimage na matatagpuan sa SJDM, at ang tanyag na krus na nakatayo sa Mt. Samat sa Bataan.
Ang Rising HeARt marker ay magsisilbi bilang palagiang paalala sa lahat na sakabila ng kaguluhan sa mundo, tayo ay palagiang pinangingibabawan ng kapayapaan, pagmamahal, at pagdamay sa isa’t-isa.
Ang unveiling of the marker ay kaalinsabay na rin ng Valentine’s Day, “as its accompanying heart-shaped structure will serve as a love lock repository. “If they have love lock bridges in Paris and in Japan, then we also have our own love lock marker. It’s something that the entire community can participate in. My husband and I have the honor of being the first couple to place a love lock in the Rising HeARt marker,” ayon kay Cong Robes.
“We look forward to having so many more love locks join ours,” said Mayor Arthur. “The more the merrier. We get to see that there is so much love in San Jose del Monte. Cong. Robes and I like to think that all the happy thoughts will help us get a Creative City designation from UNESCO.”
