Batay sa Executive order number 103, pinasisiguro ng pangulo mapaghahandaan ng husto ang Quincentennial Commemoration in the Philippines sa taon 2021.
Ito ang ikalimang daang anibersaryo ng pagkakapanalo ng Filipinong bayani na si Lapu-Lapu sa Battle of Mactan sa Cebu.
Pamumunuan ang naturang komite ni Executive secretary Salvador Medialdea, katuwang ang Department of Edutaion (DepEd), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) at iba pa.
Magsisilbi namang vice chair ng committee ang pinuno ng National Historical Commission at National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
Ibibida sa anibersaryo ang national at local tourism at iba pa.
