7 korporasyon inihabla ng BIR sa DOJ dahil sa tax fraud
Pitong korporasyon at mga negosyante ang pinakabagong kinasuhan ng BIR sa DOJ ng tax evasion dahil sa kabiguang magbayad ng tamang buwis na aabot sa 825 million pesos para sa mga taong 2008, 2010, 2011 at 2012.
Pinakamalaki sa hinahabol ng BIR ay ang utang sa buwis ng meat dealer at trader na si Donato Pe Benito Bautista na mahigit 698 million pesos.
Kabilang sa inireklamo ng paglabag sa tax code ang Body Needs & Basic, Inc. Corporation, Firotech Fire Protection, Inc., Cristimar Corporation, Fourthwave Global, Inc., Asiatech Construction & Industrial Corporation, at negosyanteng si Igna Garrovillas Francisco.
Kasama sa mga kinasuhan ang mga opisyal ng mga korporasyon.
