Pangulong Duterte iniutos ang pagpapaigting sa information campaign sa novel coronavirus
Inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) na paigtingin pa ang information campaign sa 2019 novel coronavirus.
Ayon kay PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar, bilang tugon sa utos ng pangulo gagawin na nilang kada oras ang pagsasamhipapawid sa info campaign at public service reminder sa mga government broadcast station.
Kabilang na rito ang PTV, Philippine Broadcasting Service at IBC 13.
Maging ang Philippine News Agency at Philippine Information Agency ay tutulong din aniya sa infographic materials para sa mabilis na news updates.
Ipagpapatuloy din aniya ng PCOO ang Laging Handa Press Briefing sa Malalanyang kung saan itinatampok ang iba’t ibang government officials.
Apela ni Andanar, tumutok sa mga impormasyon na nagmumula sa gobyerno at huwag maniwala sa mga pekeng balita para hindi na magpanic ang publiko sa coronavirus.
