Pangulong Duterte handang makipagpulong kay dating DICT Usec. Rio
Bukas si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na harapin si dating Information and Communications Technology undersecretary Eliseo Rio.
Pahayag ito ng Palasyo matapos magbitiw sa puwesto si Rio nang kwestyunin ang paggamit ni Secretary Gringo Honasan sa 300 milyong pisong intelligence fund ng kagawaran.
Ayon kay Cabinet secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, bilang dating miyembro ng gabinete, batid ni Rio kung paano makokontak si Pangulong Duterte.
“The President naman is open to meeting anybody. He is always said that if anybody has a complaint, Malacanang is always open to anyone who wishes to…any grievances. Even from the private sector. Lagi niya sinasabi sa mga negosyante na gusto magsumbong sa kanya. Malacanang is always open. Pakikingan niya then he will investigate immediately. So it goes without saying especially for public servants or former government employees. Like when I said that mechanisms are in place, there is also the Presidential Anti graft and corruption body. So you can go there directly and complain and file the necessary complaint or detail the necessary allegations. Bukas naman yung body na iyan to accept whatever..bukas naman yung body na iyan to whatever complaint,” ayon kay Nograles.
Si Rio ay nagsilbing officer in charge ng DITC bago itinalaga ng pangulo si Honasan bilang permanenteng kalihim ng kagawaran.
Sinabi pa ni Nograles na noon pa man, palaging bukas ang pintuan ng pangulo sa mga hinaing o anumang uri ng sumbong.
Sa ngayon, sinabi ni Nograles na may mekanismo naman ang ehekutibo para maimbestigahan ang alegasyon ni Rio.
Pero ayon kay Nograles, wala pang natatanggap na pormal na reklamo ang pangulo ukol sa kwestyunableng paggamit ni Honasan ng intel funds.
Ayon kay Nograles, maaring magsagawa ng moto propriu ang Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), Presidential Anti-Graft Commission (PAGC), Commission on Audit (COA) at Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA).
