Pagdinig ng senado kaugnay sa paglaganap ng nCoV sinimulan na

Sinimulan na ng senado ang pagdinig nito hinggil sa 2019 novel coronavirus.

Dumalo sa pagdinig ang mga opisyal ng iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan at mga health professionals.

Kabilang sa mga miyembro ng gabinete na humarap sa pagdinig ng Senate Committee on Health ay sina Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., at Communications Secretary Martin Andanar.

Present din sa hearing sina Education Secretary Leonor Briones, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, Social Welfare Secretary Rolando Bautista, Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, Finance Secretary Sonny Dominguez, at National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Ernesto Pernia.

Sa panig ng World Health Organization (WHO) at dumalo si country representative Dr. Rabinda Abeyasinghe.

Ayon kay Senator Nancy Binay, mas nagiging reactionary ang bansa kaysa maging proactive sa pagtugon sa sakit.

Naniniwala naman si Senator Joel Villanueva na limitado ang resources ng mga ospital lalo na kung madagdagan pa ang bilang ng mga itinuturing na patients under investigation PUIs.
