Cebu Province isinailalim sa ‘State of Preparedness’ kontra nCoV

Isinailalim na sa ‘State of Preparedness’ ang lalawigan ng Cebu kontra 2019 novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease ( 2019 n-CoV ARD).

Sa pulong nina Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, Department of Health-Central Visayas at iba pang opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan na bumubuo sa provincial board ay napagdesisyunan na isailalim sa “State of Preparedness” ang lalawigan para magamit ang kanilang disaster fund kontra novel coronavirus.

Ang lalawigan ay may kabuuang pondo na P220.4 million disaster funds para sa taong 2020 kung saan 30 porsyento dito ay para sa quick response fund (QRF) na ginagamit sa deklarasyon ng state of calamity at ang 70 porsyento naman ay nakalaan para sa preparedness, prevention and rehabilitation.

Bahagi ng pondo ay gagamitin sa 14-day quarantine para sa mga Filipino at mga may valid permanent residence visa na magmumula sa mainland China, Hong Kong at Macau bilang tugon sa idineklara ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ban.

Nauna nang tinukoy ng Department of Health – Central Visayas (DOH-7) ang tatlong pasilidad na gagamitin bilang quarantine facilities. Ito ay ang mga sumusunod:

-Eversley Child’s Sanitarium and General Hospital sa Barangay Jagobiao sa Mandaue City

-Women Development Center sa Lahug sa Cebu City

-Drug dependents’ rehabilitation center sa bayan ng Pinamungajan
