Malakanyang sa mga kritiko: Huwag i-hijack ang coronavirus para sa pulitika
Umaapela ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa mga kritiko na huwag i-hijack ang 2019 novel coronavirus para sa pulitika at pansariling interes lamang.
Ayon kay Presidential Communications Operations Secretary Martin Andanar, mas makabubuti kung isasantabi muna ang hindi pagkakaunawaan at pagkakasundo ng isa’t isa.
“In times like this, it is easy to mislead our fellow Filipinos. So we urged the public to stop spreading rumors and goading fears as well as ending the stigma against specific nationality or race. There is no room for discrimination and there should be none at all,” ayon kay Andanar.
Apela ni Andanar, magpatupad muna ng moratorium o itigil na muna ang siraan at pulitika dahil buhay ng tao ang nakasalalay sa sitwasyon.
“Let us set aside our individual differences as we ask for a moratorium to people who want to hijack this situation and
reduce it to mere for politicking because lives are at stake,” ayon kay Andanar.

Hindi rin aniya akma na magkaroon ng pagkamuhi sa isang nationality lalo na sa mga Chinese kung saan nagsimula ang coronavirus.
Ayon kay Andanar, ang pagkakaisa ng taong bayan ang pinakamabisang sandata para malabanan ang naturang sakit.
“United in one common purpose we will overcome this health scare,” ayon pa kay Andanar.
