300 dayuhan stranded sa NAIA matapos maapektuhan ng travel ban sa China, Hong Kong at Macau

Mayroon nang tatlongdaang dayuhan na unang naapektuhan ng travel ban na ipinatutupad sa Pilipinas sa mga biyaherong mula China, Hong Kong at Macau.

Ayon kay Bureau of Immigration Port Operations Division Chief Grifton Medina, ang nasabing mga dayuhan ay dumating sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Linggo ng gabi mula Hong Kong at Macau matapos maipalabas ang utos tungkol sa travel ban.

Stranded ngayon sa paliparan ang mga dayuhan habang naghihintay ng masasakyang flight pabalik kung saan sila nagmula.

Problema ngayon ng BI ang kawalan na ng biyahe ng Philippine Airlines at Cebu Pacific patungo ng Macau, Hong Kong at sa China.

Sinabi ni Medina na tinutugunan na ng consul general ng China kung paanong makakabalik ang mga stranded na pasahero na hahanapan ng ibang airlines na maaring makapagsakay sa kanila.

Kagabi, mayroon ding biyahe ng Air Asia na dumating sa NAIA Terminal 3 galing sa Macau pero agad itong bumalik sa Macau at hindi na pinababa ang mga pasahero.
