Mga naaresto dahil sa umiiral na election gun ban sa Maguindanao, umabot na sa 11

Ayon kay Senior Supt. Nickson Muksan, ang hepe ng Maguindanao Police, labing isa katao ang eksaktong bilang ng kanilang nahuli simula nang ipatupad ang election gun ban noong January 8.

Nakilala ang mga naaresto na sina Salipudin Masulot, 20 years old ng Barangay Capiton, Datu Odin Sinsuat ng Maguindanao at Sonny Ibay, 43 years old, ng Parang, Maguindanao.

Kabilang sa mga nakumpiskang baril ay isang sub-machine gun, caliber 45 pistols, at M-16 Armalite rifle.

Naaresto rin ng Police Station 4 si Malumpac Utto Jr., residente ng Mother Bagua, Cotabato City at nakuha sa kanya ang isang caliber 38 revolver.

Kaugnay nito, aabot sa 400 police checkpoints ang itinalaga sa 36 municipalities ng Maguindanao bilang katuwang ng Commission on Elections sa pagpapatupad ng gun ban.
