100 baboy nasawi sa Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental dahil sa ASF

Nasawi ang mahigit 100 baboy sa Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental bunsod ng African Swine Fever (ASF).

Sa inilabas na memorandum, sinabi ni Mayor Michael Maruya na apektado nito ang mga sumusunod na barangay:
– Linadasan
– North Lamidan
– South Lamidan
– Calian
– Mabuhay
– Lawa
– Nueva Villa
– Baluntaya

Dahil dito, nagsagawa aniya ang Department of Agriculture Region 11 at Provincial Veterinarian Office ng sample collection at inirekomenda ang temporary lockdown.

Kasunod nito, magtatagala ang Philippine National Police (PNP), mga punong barangay at iba pang ahensya ng 24/7 na animal quarantine checkpoints sa mga entry point sa nasabing bayan.
