Isang hornbill o kalaw ang nailigtas sa bahagi ng Cavite matapos ang pagputok ng Bulkang Taal.

Matapos itong maibigay sa pangangalaga ng DENR ay unti-unting lumakas na ang kalaw.

Samantala, naiturnover na rin ng NCRPO sa DENR ang Baby Owl na nailigtas nila sa Batangas.
