Opening Parade ng 2020 Panagbenga Festival sa Baguio City kinansela dahil sa 2019-nCoV scare

Kinansela ang opening ceremony ng 2020 Panagbenga Festival sa Baguio City.

Ito ay kasunod ng deklarasyon na isa nang global health emergency ang sakit na novel coronavirus.

Ayon kay Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, hindi na muna itutulong ang opening parade para sa Panagbenga Festival na dapat ay isasagawa na bukas, February 1.

Hindi na din muna itutuloy ang ang pedestrianization at art activities sa kahabaan ng Session Road sa Linggo, February 2.

Kanselado din ang mga sumusunod pang aktibidad sa Baguio:

– CARAA – Cordillera Athletic Meet
– International Jazz Festival
– iba pang crowd-drawing activities para sa susunod na mga linggo (February 1 hanggang 23, 2020)
