Mga senior citizen, PWD maaari nang magtrabaho sa ilang fast food restaurant at supermarket sa Maynila
Maaari nang makapagtrabaho ang ilang senior citizen at person with disabilities (PWD) sa ilang fast food restaurant at supermarket sa Lungsod ng Maynila.
Pumirma si Mayor Isko Moreno ng kasunduan kasama ang food companies na KFC at Tokyo Tokyo, at maging sa supermarket na Puregold para magbukas ng bakanteng trabaho sa senior citizens at PWDs.
Dahil dito, tatanggap ang dalawang food companies ng ilang senior citizen at PWDs para magtrabaho sa lahat ng kanilang branch sa lungsod.
Kukuha rin ang supermarket chain ng 48 senior citizens at PWDs para sa kanilang 24 stores sa buong Maynila.
Lubos namang nagpasalamat ang alkalke sa mga nasabing kumpanya.
Inihayag din nito ang kahalagahan ng equal employment programs.
“Malaking bagay ito for our seniors and PWDs and of course, more jobs for Manila,” ani Moreno.
Binanggit din ng alkalde ang inisyatibo ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Maynila para sa pag-promote ng equality at fair access para sa mga oportunidad.
“Inclusive policy—that is our goal. Those who are still capable and those who have less opportunities because of their
physical challenges must still be able to join the workforce,” dagdag pa nito.
