Dalawang commission ng Comelec magreretiro sa susunod na buwan
Nakatakdang magretiro sa susunod na buwan ang dalawang commissioner ng Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Sina Commissioners Luie Guia at Al Parreño ay nakatakda nang magretiro sa buwan ng Pebrero matapos ang pitong taon nilang termino.
Pero ayon kay Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez, wala naman itong magiging epekto sa paghahanda ng Comelec sa eleksyon.
Mayroon pa naman kasong limang matitira na miyembro ng Comelec en banc kaya mayroon pa ring quorum.
Kapag nagretiro na ang dalawa, ang matitirang miyembro ng Comelec en banc ay sina Comelec Chairman Sheriff Abas, Commissioners Rowena Guanzon, Marlon Casquejo, Antonio Kho Jr., at Socorro Inting.
