Bata sa Cebu na galing Wuhan negatibo sa novel coronavirus – DOH
Negatibo ang resulta ng pagsusuri sa 5 taong gulang na batang lalaki na dumating sa Cebu at may history ng pagbiyahe sa Wuhan City.
Ayon sa Department of Health (DOH) natanggap na nila ang resulta ng confirmatory test galing Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory sa Melbourne, Australia.
Lumitaw sa pagsusuri sa samples na kinuha sa bata na negatibo ito sa 2019 novel coronavirus.
Ang naturang bata ay unang nakitaan ng kahalintulad na sintomas ng pneumonia at naospital sa Cebu City.
Nagpositibo ang bata sa pancoronavirus assay kaya ang kinuhang samples sa kaniya ay ipinadala sa Australia.
“This is indeed very welcome news to ease the Filipinos’ growing concern. I assure everyone that your Department of Health will not stop here and is on top of this emerging health event. We will continue to monitor the developing situation and ensure mechanisms to contain the threat of the 2019-nCoV,” ayon kay Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III.
