Dalawang Chinese, timbog dahil sa human trafficking sa Makati City

Arestado ang dalawang Chinese national dahil sa human trafficking sa Makati City.

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Dante Gierran na inaresto ang dalawang dayuhan matapos mapaulat na nag-ooperate ng prostitution den.

Hinuli ng mga tauhan ng NBI Anti-Organized and Transnational Crime Division (AOTCD) ang mga suspek na sina Zhang Lian Wei at Li Wu Tao sa ikinasang entrapment operation sa isang hotel sa bahagi ng Makati Avenue noong January 15.

Nagpanggap na customer ang isang undercover na NBI agent para makapasok sa nasabing hotel.

Nasagip ng NBI, katuwang ang Makati Social Worker Department, ang nasa 22 babaeng Chinese sa nasabing sex den.

Ayon pa sa NBI, nakikipagtulungan na sila sa Bureau of Immigration ukol sa mga nasagip na babaeng Chinese para sa posibleng kaso o deportation.

Mahaharap ang dalawang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012.
