Kasabay ito ng pagbibigay ng promosyon ni Pangulong Duterte kay Embang sa ranggong BFP director.
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Duterte si Embang bilang officer-in-charge ng BFP noong January 7, 2020 kapalit ng nagretirong si Fire director Leonard Bañago.
