P714,000 halaga ng shabu, nasabat sa Dumaguete City; Drug suspect, timbog
Arestado ang isang drug suspect sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Sabado ng gabi.
Ayon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Central Visayas (PDEA RO7), isinagawa ang operasyon sa bahagi ng Barangay Candau-ay bandang 8:40 ng gabi.
Naaresto sa operasyon ang drug suspect na si Edwin JJ Zamora Catada Jr. alyas Jake, 38-anyos.
Nakuha kay Catada ang 26 pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na may bigat na mahigit-kumulang 105 gramo.
Nagkakahalaga ang kontrabando ng P714,000.
Maliban dito, nakuha rin kay Catada ang ginamit na buy-bust money, isang cell phone at isang itim na sling bag.
Mahaharap si Catada sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
