Malakanyang hindi nababahala sa pagkawala ng turismo sa Taal

Ipinagkibit-balikat lamang ng Malakanyang kung tuluyan mang mawawala ang turismo sa Taal Volcano Island.

Ito ay matapos aprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ideklarang “no man’s land” ang Taal Volcano Island

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, hindi naman mamamatay ang mga taga-Batangas kung walang turismo sa Taal.

Ang mahalaga ayon kay Panelo ay matiyak na ligtas ang bawat isa.

Maari naman aniyang maghanap ng alternatibong pamamaraan ang pamahalaan para mabigyan ng kabuhayan ang mga maapektuhang residente kung mawawala ang turismo sa Taal.

Sinabi pa ni Panelo na noon pa man “no man’s land” na ang Taal Volcano Island subalit sadyang matitigas lanang ang ulo ang iilan at patuloy na naghahanap-buhay.
