Sakop ng ipinatupad na total deployment ban ang mga bagong hire na skilled at professional workers.
Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer kay POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia, para sa mga household service workers, sakop ng ban ang mga bagong hire at maging mga balik-manggagawa.
Para naman sa mga skilled at professional workers, sakop ng ban ang mga bagong hire pero exempted naman ang balik-manggagawa.
Sinabi rin ni Olalia na walang mandatory repatriation sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) sa Kuwait.
Kung mayroon namang OFW sa Kuwait na gustong umuwi ng Pilipinas at may balidong dahilan, sila ay handang tulungan ng pamahalaan.
