Tourism activities sa mga lugar na apektado ng pagputok ng Bulkang Taal pinahihinto na ng DOT

Ipinag-utos ng Department of Tourism (DOT) ang agarang pagpapahinto sa tourism activities sa mga lugar na apektado ng pagputok ng Bulkang Taal.

Umapela ang DOT sa lahat ng stakeholder na makipagtulungan at itigil muna ang kanilang operasyon lalo na kung sila ay nasa mga lugar na apektado ng pagsabog ng bulkan.

“The Department of Tourism strongly advises all tourism enterprises operating in all affected areas of the Taal Volcano disaster to immediately cease operations in light of DOST-Phivolcs’ Alert Level 4 warning,” ayon sa DOT.

Sinabi ni DOT na pangunahing prayoridad ang kalusugan, kaligtasan at kapakanan ng mga manggagawa at turista lalo pa at nasa alert level 4 ang pa rin ang Bulkang Taal.

Hiniling ng DOT ang pakikipagtulungan ng lahat para maiwasan ang panganib na maaring maidulot sa sandaling lumala pa ang sitwasyon.
