MMDA, maglalagay ng portable water purifiers sa Santo Tomas, Batangas
Maglalagay ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ng dalawang portable water purifiers sa Santo Tomas, Batangas.
Sa isang press conference, sinabi ni MMDA Public Safety Office and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Focal Person head Michael Salalima na ito ay para sa libu-libong indibidwal na inilikas bunsod ng pag-alboroto ng Bulkang Taal.
Itatalaga rin anila ang kanilang radio personnel para magkaroon ng communication facility sa lugar.
Nauna nang nagtalaga ang MMDA ng 30 rescue-and-relief personnel bilang maging bahagi ng operasyon sa paglikas ng mga residente.
Tiniyak naman ng ahensya sa publiko na mahigpit silang nakikipag-ugnayan sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office ng Calabarzon at Batangas.
Humiling din sina MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia at Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC) officer-in-charge Romulo Cabantac sa 17 ng local government units sa Metro Manila na tumulong sa evacuation at relief operations.
