Korte naglabas ng TRO sa 10,000-rider cap ng TWG

Inaprubahan ng korte ang hirit na TRO ng ride-hailing app na Angkas sa 10,000 rider cap ng Technical Working Group (TWG).

Sa inilabas na ruling ni Quezon City RTC Branch 223 Judge Catherine Monodon, maaring magdulot ng “irreparable injury” sa mga rider kung maipatutupad ang naturang bahagi ng revised guidelines ng TWG.

Sa ilalim ng bagong guidelines ng TWG ay mayroon lamang dapat na 30,000 motorcycle taxis sa Metro Manila.

Mangangahulugan ito na tig-10,000 riders lang dapat meron ang Angkas, MoveIt at JoyRide.

Dahil sa TRO, hindi muna maaring ipatupad ng DOTr at TWG ang revised policy.

Hindi naman inaprubahan ng korte ang hirit ng Angkas na maglabas din ng TRO laban sa pagkakasali ng dalawang bagong providers sa extension ng pilot test run ng motorcycle taxis.
