House Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs nagpatawag ng special meeting sa Lunes
Magsasagawa ng special meeting ang House Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs sa susunod na linggo.
Ito ay para talakayin ang kaso ng pagpatay sa Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) sa Kuwait na si Jeanelyn Villavende.
Tatalakayin din ang kasalukuyang sitwasyon sa ng mga OFW sa Iraq at iba pang bansa sa Gitnang Silangan.
Gagawin ang special meeting sa Lunes, January 13, 2020, ala 1:30 ng hapon.
Inimbitahan sa special meeting ang mga kinatawan mula sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan.
Kabilang dito ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs ng DFA, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Philippine Overseas Employment Welfare Administration (OWWA), National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) at iba pa.
