SPD chief Bathan mananatili sa pwesto
Habang sumasailalim sa imbestigasyon ay mananatili sa kaniyang pwesto ang hepe ng Southern Police District (SPD) na kumuha sa cellphone ng GMA reporter na si Jun Veneracion.
Ayon kay National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) acting chief Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas, si Brig. Gen. Nolasco Bathan pa rin ang magsisilbing SPD director kahit iniimbestigahan siya ng Regional Internal Affairs Service ng NCRPO.
Sinabi ni Sinas na ginawa lamang ni Bathan ang trabaho niya para matiyak ang seguridad ng mga deboto sa Traslacion.
Ayon kay Sinas, hihintayin na lamang niya ang rekomendasyon na isusumite ng IAS.
Una nang humingi ng paumanhin si Bathan kay Veneracion dahil sa nangyari.
