PAL, CebuPac at Air Asia tutulong sa pagpapauwi ng mga OFWs na nasa Middle East

Handang tumulong ang Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific at Air Asia para sa pagpapauwi ng mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) na maaring maapektuhan ng gulo sa Middle East.

Ayon kay Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Jim Sydiongco, pumayag ang PAL at Cebu Pacific na libreng ibiyahe ang mga Pinoy na maaapektuhan sa UEA o sa iba pang bahagi ng Gitnang Silangan na mayroon silang available na flight.

Ang Air Asia naman ay pumayag na na magbigay ng libreng biyahe sa mga Filipino na uuwi sa kani-kanilang probinsya gamit ang domestic flights ng airline.

Samantala tiniyak naman ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade ang mabilis na pagpapatupad ng repatriation plan sa panig ng air sector.
