BI naghahanda na sa pagdagsa ng mga inilikas na Pinoy galing Middle east

Naghahanda na ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa inaasahang influx ng mga overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) mula sa Middle East na maaaring ilikas kasunod ng tensyon sa Iran at Amerika.

Ayon kay Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, inatasan na nya ang lahat ng BI personnel sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at iba pang international ports sa bansa na maghanda.

Sinabi pa ni Morente na kung kinakailangan, handa rin ang BI na magdeploy ng karagdagan pang tauhan sa NAIA.

Kaugnay nito, naglabas naman ng memorandum si BI port operations division chief Grifton Medina na pinapayuhan ang lahat ng BI airport personnel na maghanda sa posibleng mass repatriation ng mga pinoy.

Mahigpit rin ang bilin ni Medina na dapat tiyaking may mga nakatao sa lahat ng terminal para matiyak ang maayos na pagproseso sa mga pabalik na OFW sa bansa,
