Nag-courtesy call kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.
Ang pulong ng dalawang opisyal ay idinaos sa Malakanyang kahapon, Jan. 9.
Ayon sa Presidential Communications Operations Office, highlights ng pulong nina Duterte at Motegi ang mga proyekto sa Pilipinas na pinondohan ng Japan.
Nagpasalamat din si Pangulong Duterte sa Japanese official sa pagsuporta ng bansa development agenda ng Pilipinas.
Habang si Motegi naman ay nagpasalamat kay Pangulong Duterte sa pagdalo nito sa enthronement ceremony kay Japanese emperor noong October 2019.
