War powers ni Trump laban sa Iran binawasan ng US Congress

Inaprubahan ng House of Representatives sa Amerika ang panukala na bawasan ang kapangyarihan ni US President Donald Trump na lumaban sa Iran.

Sa inaprubahang resolusyon nakasaad na dapat hingin muna ni Trump ang pag-apruba ng Kongreso bago ang anomang military action laban sa Iran.

Ayon kay House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, layunin ng hakbang na maprotektahan ang buhay ng mga mamamayan ng Amerika.

Sinabi ni Pelosi na malinaw na “provocative” at “disproportionate” ang ginawang pagtarget at pagpatay kay Gen. Qassem Soleimani na ikinagalit ng Iran.

Sa ginawang botohan, 224 ang bumoto pabor sa panukala.
