Resolusyong patawan ng sanction ang PH gov’t officials na nasa likod ng pagpapakulong kay De Lima, ipinasa ng U.S. Senate

Pasado sa U.S. Senate ang resolusyong humihikayat na patawan ng sanction ang mga opisyal ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas na responsable sa pagpapakulong kay Senador Leila de Lima.

Batay sa official website ng U.S. Congress, ipinasa ang resolusyon na humihikayat kay U.S. President Donald Trump na magpataw ng sanction alinsunod sa Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act.

Inihain ang nasabing resolusyon ni U.S. Senator Ed Markey.

Kabilang sa posibleng maging sanction ay ang pag-deny ng travel visa at freezing assets.
