DFA, nababahala sa tumitinding tensyon sa Iraq

Nababahala ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa tumitinding tensyon na nakakaapekto sa kapayapaan at seguridad sa Iraq.

Dahil dito, sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng DFA na itinaas na ang alert level 4 sa Iraq.

Inatasan ang Philippine Embassy sa Baghdad na magkasa ng mandatory evacuation sa mahigit 1,640 Filipino sa nasabing bansa.

Kasunod naman ng direktiba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, tutulak si DENR Secretary Roy Cimatu sa Gitnang Silangan para pangunahan ang repatriation.

Maliban dito, magde-deploy pa ang kagawaran ng rapid response teams (RRTs) sa nasabing rehiyon.
