DFA, Inter-Agency Command Conference umusad na para sa gagawing hakbang sa tensyon sa Middle East

Nagsimula nang mag-convene ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at ang Inter-Agency Command Conference kaugnay ng lumalalang kaguluhan sa Middle East.

Kasunod ito ng direktiba ng Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno na agad na bumuo ng emergency plans para sa overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) sa Gitnang Silangan.

Kabilang sa dumalo sa pagpupulong ang mga kinatawan mula sa Office of the President, House of Representatives- Office of the Speaker, Department of National Defense (DND), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), National Security Council, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Transportation (DOTr), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), at Office of Civil Defense (OCD).

Inanunsyo ng DFA ang pagpapatupad ng alert level 4 sa buong Iraq kung saan kaakibat nito ang mandatory evacuation sa mga Filipino doon.
